Operating instructions

1.        Open the power source of remote control firstly.

2.        And then open the power supply of helicopter's receiver; before gyroscope's indicating lamp brightens please do not rock the fuselage (the lamp brightens only after several seconds).

3.        Set your remote control, if the remote control has the following function, please set it for OFF.

●ATS                                      ●Rudder to gyro mixing

●Pilot authority mixing                        ●Pitch to rudder mixing

●Throttle to rudder mixing                     ●Revolution mixing

4. Set the NOR←→REV switch on the gyroscope: Lift the helicopter, the nose swings left, if the  swinging direction of tail rudder servo is the same direction with the remote control's rudder rocking bar turning astarboard, it indicates that the setting of gyroscope's movement direction is correct, if it is not correct please switch the normal and revere  switch.

5. Sensitivity adjustment, generally speaking, the speed of tail rudder servo is quicker, then the gyroscope's sensitivity may relatively promote.

6. Travel adjustment, may adjust the tail rudder servo's maximum travel, which is advantageous to protect and extend the tail rudder servo's service life.

 

Adjustment before flight

In order to enable the gyroscope display the biggest performance, the adjustment is essentially preparatory

 work.

1.        Set the rudder tiller and auxiliary trimming return to zero (neutral point)  

2.        Confirm the sensitivity switch on your remote control's gyroscope is in the position of general mode or nose locking mode, when operating may observe the tail rudder servo's movement to confirm: In general mode, when the rudder rocking bar loosens, the rudder servo will return to the middle position rapidly; Otherwise when in nose locking mode, the rudder servo gradually move toward the sole direction to the maximum travel quantity.

3.        Adjust the rudder's auxiliary trimming cause the phenomenon that the servo gradually moves to the minimum degree, at this time it is normal if some slight and slow motion phenomenon also exist, this phenomenon will maintain 10 to 20 seconds, until the servo arrives the maximum travel quantity.

4.        Once adjusting to the position of equilibrium then it does not need further adjustment. However, during the general mode to decrease any excursion function, the connecting rod's trimming of tail rudder is still necessary, but this only could be adjusted by the test flight.

5.        Choose the nose locking mode and cause the helicopter maintains stops condition.

6.        Observe whether the rear part has the fast to-and-fro movement (tracing) phenomenon, if has this phenomenon, then lower the gyroscope's sensitivity, if has no, then raise the gyroscope's sensitivity (this act’s goal is to under the premise of causing no displacement swinging raise the gyroscope's sensitivity as far as possible).

7.        Note: if the tail rudder has displacement slightly, then may use the tail rudder trimming to make adjustment.

8.        Choose the general mode and repeat the above step. In this case, any displacement's response may be corrected by connecting rod's adjustment of the tail rudder.

A.      After using the remote control to adjust the gyroscope's sensitivity, if the rear part still has slight tracing phenomenon (anomalous swinging), try to move the connecting rod position on the cornual plate of tail rudder servo rudder (move toward the inner hole or outer hole ).

B.       In order to cause the gyroscope adapts the temperature and humidity of flying field, it is suggested to lay aside the helicopter and gyroscope in the natural environment for approximately 5-10 minutes, and then open to use again.
